Building Strength
The Rehabilitation Center offers inpatient care to people who need intensive rehabilitation and 24-hour medical and nursing care. Following an acute hospital stay, you may require this service as part of a continuum of care. The multi-disciplinary team, led by a physician, assists patients and their families to identify needs and work toward functional and lifestyle goals.
Our dedicated team of doctors, nurses, therapists and social workers tailor individual programs to meet patients' personal and medical needs to help them regain and maximize their individual levels of independence. Our team has the expertise and sensitivity to give you the emotional and physical support you need to make progress in your rehabilitation.
We help patients and their families achieve their greatest possible levels of independence. We offer a comfortable 8-bed unit and we have up-to-date therapeutic facilities and equipment, including a therapy gym and a furnished "living skills" apartment.
Once you begin rehabilitation, you will participate in at least 3 hours of therapy a day, spaced throughout the day. Your therapy may consist of a combination of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and recreation - whatever it takes to help you restore your independence and return home. We believe that each patient's recovery depends not only on his or her own personalized treatment, but in active participation in the rehabilitative process as well.
